Mode of Action

The triazole (DMI) component inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in the fungal cell membrane, weakening the membrane and stopping further fungal growth — giving both protective and curative activity. Trifloxystrobin, a strobilurin (QoI), inhibits mitochondrial respiration in the fungal pathogen, halting spore germination and mycelial growth.
