COMMON MISTAKES - Why PM Matsya Sampada Yojana Application Get Rejected
✗Applying without a Fisherman Registration Certificate / fishing licence — this document is the gateway; get registered with the state fisheries department first.
✗Skipping the project report on larger investments — District Level Committee approval for big components (boats, cold storage, RAS) needs a proper project report.
✗Assuming everyone gets 60% — general category gets 40%; the 60% band is for SC/ST and women applicants, and it needs the caste certificate attached where applicable.
✗Waiting only for the online portal — the District Fisheries Officer route moves component applications just as officially, and local officers know which components have budget this year.
INSIDER TIPS FOR PM MATSYA SAMPADA YOJANA
→Apply component-wise: a boat, nets, and an ice plant are separate applications — sequence them rather than bundling everything into one request.
