Mode of Action

The strobilurin (QoI) component inhibits mitochondrial respiration at the cytochrome bc1 complex, cutting off the fungal pathogen’s energy supply and halting spore germination and mycelial growth. The triazole (DMI) component inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in the fungal cell membrane, weakening the membrane and stopping further fungal growth — giving both protective and curative activity.
