Overview

Nutrixa - ZP is a Zincated Phosphate suspension from Vatrixa Crop Sciences, purpose-built for the establishment stage — germination, nursery growth and early root development — when phosphorus and zinc deficiencies most severely limit a crop's start, particularly in the calcareous and alkaline soils common across much of India.

Mode of Action

Phosphate fuels the ATP-driven energy transfer that powers cell division and root elongation in a germinating seed or young seedling, while zinc is a required cofactor for auxin (IAA) synthesis and for the dehydrogenase and protein-synthesis enzymes that govern early growth. Because phosphorus and zinc deficiencies frequently occur together in calcareous, high-pH soils — and because excess phosphate can itself induce zinc deficiency by interfering with zinc uptake — supplying both nutrients in one formulation corrects both limitations at once, translating into higher germination percentage, stronger seedling vigour and a more established root system before the crop moves into its main growth phase.
