- Atrataf herbicide is a pre-emergence herbicide (it kills germinating seedling of weeds by interfering with their photosynthesis and meristematic activity) It highly safe to maize and sugarcane.
- It acts by inhibiting photo system II of photosynthesis by disrupting electron transfer.
