Refund policy

Refund Policy — Khethari

Khethari Agritech Private Limited wants you to be satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work for orders placed on khethari.com.

1. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. To start a return, email khethariagritech@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Requests made after 7 days will not be accepted, except where required by law.

2. Condition of Returned Items
Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with all seals, labels, and tags intact, and accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice). We reserve the right to refuse a return that does not meet these conditions.

3. Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, report it to khethariagritech@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the product and its packaging. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no additional cost to you once the issue is verified.

4. Seeds and Live Plants
Because germination and plant survival depend on soil, weather, storage, and handling after delivery — all of which are outside our control — seeds and live plants are covered by this policy only for verified transit damage or a verified defect at the time of delivery (see Section 3). We do not guarantee germination rates or plant survival once delivered in good condition.

5. Refund Process and Timeline
Once we approve a return or a damage claim, we will notify you by email. Refunds are issued to your original payment method (or as store credit, if you prefer) within 10 business days of approval. If a return requires the item to be sent back to us, the refund is processed after we receive and inspect it.

6. Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged in transit, defective on arrival), we cover return shipping.
- If the return is for any other reason, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

7. Non-Returnable Items
Items that have been used, installed, or had their packaging opened beyond inspection (unless defective), and any item marked "non-returnable" on its product page, cannot be returned.

8. Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead follow the return process above. If you paid online and cancel before shipment, any payment gateway transaction fee actually charged to us by our payment processor may be deducted from your refund; we do not charge any additional cancellation fee beyond that.

9. How to Reach Us
For any return, refund, or order issue, contact us at:
Email: khethariagritech@gmail.com
Address: Khethari Agritech Private Limited, II Floor, H.No. 8-12-15P, Durga Nagar, Madhuban Colony, Kattedan, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500077

10. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

6. YOUR CONSENT
By using the Website and providing your information, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

7. YOUR CHOICES
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by emailing khethariagritech@gmail.com. You will continue to receive transactional messages related to your orders even after opting out of marketing communications.

8. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDP ACT, 2023
As an Indian business, we process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- withdraw your consent to processing at any time; and
- request erasure of your personal data, where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details in Section 9 below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Products may be purchased through the payment methods made available on the Website, and specific products may carry additional terms disclosed at the time of sale.

4. Privacy Policy
Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and agree to it.

5. Limited Use of Website Content
You may not reverse-engineer, modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, transfer, or sell any information, software, or content obtained from the Website without our prior written permission. You may print or download limited extracts of any page for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.

6. User Conduct
When using the Website, you agree not to: defame, abuse, harass, stalk, or threaten others; upload or transmit obscene, unlawful, or infringing material; upload viruses or other malicious code; interfere with the Website's operation; run unauthorized pyramid or chain schemes; falsify your identity or affiliation; or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation in force in or outside India.

7. User Warranties
If you submit any content to the Website (such as a product review, image, or comment), you represent and warrant that the content is your own original work, or that you have obtained all necessary permissions to submit it, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.

8. Product Descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to display product details, images, and specifications accurately. However, actual product packaging, appearance, and specifications may vary slightly from what is shown on the Website, and Khethari does not guarantee an exact match. Where a change to a product significantly affects its core specifications, we will seek your approval before dispatch; if you do not respond within 10 days, we may treat the change as accepted or cancel the order at our discretion.

9. Intellectual Property Rights
Khethari owns all intellectual property rights in and to the Website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, except for content you submit yourself. If you submit content to the Website (such as a review or comment), you retain ownership of that content, but you grant Khethari a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Website. You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for any content you submit, and that Khethari is not obligated to monitor, edit, or remove any such content, though we reserve the right to do so at our discretion.

10. Links to Third-Party Sites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites ("Linked Sites") for your convenience, including our hosting and payment processing partner, Shopify. Khethari does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, products, or practices of any Linked Site, and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of a Linked Site.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
The Website and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khethari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its services.

12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Khethari, its officers, directors, and employees harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.

13. Pricing
Khethari reserves the right to change prices, products, and available services at any time without prior notice. All prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

14. Shipping
Title to, and risk of loss for, ordered products passes to you once the shipment is handed over to our shipping carrier. Cash on Delivery (COD) availability depends on the order value, delivery location, and other factors determined at checkout, and may not be available for every order.
